About Me

Me at my brother's wedding as best man

You might want to know a bit about me before you proceed.

Background

I grew up in Plymouth, which is about as much of a social disadvantage as anyone can get. It's by the sea, and it's got some great views, but the luxury ends there. I've travelled around a bit, met some great people and performed a few times on stage.

Experience

I've been writing comedy for several years now. I was spotted on a blog by a Radio 4 comic in 2006, and we got yapping. He was gigging a lot, as well as performing on a weekly comedy radio show, and didn't have the time to come up with new material. I started writing for him, and within a few years I was ghost-writing for a couple of others.

Personality

You don't need one of these to be funny. You just need the gift/ability to say the right thing at the right or wrong time. I've mastered this, and only sustained moderate facial bruising.

I'm 38 39.

Mark, over the course of two days, sorted me out in ways I cannot begin to share. The speech was the most side-splitting, roaring success possible.Oliver D »

If you are in any way worried about your speech, and you can afford it, get Mark's service. To say you won't be disappointed is an understatement.Dan H »

This not only prepared me for the best man speech, but made me a good bit funnier in life. 11 out of 10 to him.Matt S »
